It started after my own wedding in 2022. I’d spent months thrifting, collecting, and styling every little detail with that vintage-meets-boho feel I love. Two years later, my younger sister got married — and instead of her starting from scratch, I loaded all of my decor into a cargo trailer, hauled it to her farm, and we laughed at how easy it made her day.
That was my aha moment.
The idea? Pack all the wedding decor you could ever need into one trailer — ready to roll, no stress, no storage drama. No sketchy Marketplace meetups. And just like that, Borrowed Hitch was born.

I live on a farm, I collect way too many pretty things, and I’m the kind of person who will absolutely build it herself if she can’t find it in a store. I’ve always loved anything vintage, floral, or just a little romantic.
When I’m not curating wedding decor, I’m running rental properties or building DIY projects — I love design, good details, and I don’t believe in overcomplicating a good thing.
Oh, and Honey (my dog) wore a flower collar at our wedding. You’ll find it packed in the trailer, just in case.

Yes! We offer custom Cricut-cut signage as an add-on. Just let us know what you need when you book, and we’ll work with you to create personalized signs that fit your wedding style. Custom signs must be requested 3 months prior to ensure we have time to make them!
Can I request custom signage? How does that work?
Please make sure all decor is returned clean, dry, and packed neatly back into the trailer—just like it arrived. No deep cleaning needed, but items should be free of dirt or moisture before you load them up. If something gets damaged, just let us know right away. We understand that accidents happen and will work out a fair, stress-free solution together. (And hey, a little broken glass on your wedding is still good luck, right?)
What do I need to do after the wedding, and what if something gets damaged?
Yes! You can absolutely use anything you want from the trailer. Whether you want to style with a few key pieces or go all out and use everything inside, it’s totally up to you — the trailer is packed with plenty of gorgeous decor ready to bring your vision to life.
Can I pick and choose which items I want from the trailer?
Everything inside the trailer is included—arches, signage, florals, candles, vintage vases, lights fabrics, and more. No hidden fees or surprise charges. You get the whole package to style your wedding your way. Check out our inventory page for a full detailed list with photos! A few key items are extra (due to extra cleaning required): party tent, wine glasses, tablecloths, antique white couch.
What’s included in the flat rate fee?
You rent the entire trailer for a flat rate. It’s packed full of wedding decor, all ready to go. We currently are doing delivery only for 2026. We drop it off on Thursday, you can decorate your venue however you like using everything inside, and then we come get the trailer on Monday. Easy and stress-free. Delivery is included within 100 KM of Homefield, Saskatchewan.

Our trailer is filled with carefully packed, one-of-a-kind vintage decor — and we travel a stretch of highway (the 52) that’s notoriously rough. To keep everything safe (and save you the worry), we currently handle all transportation ourselves.
Plus, towing a loaded trailer can be stressful and risky if you’re not used to it — and we’d rather you focus on getting ready for your big day, not backing up a trailer!
We personally deliver Borrowed Hitch to your venue on Thursday and pick it up the following Monday. This ensures every item arrives secure, clean, and ready for your dream setup.
So while it’s technically “included,” your package price already covers delivery, pickup, and peace of mind.
